Air conditioning for the home is a necessity to provide the comfort that you and your family deserve.

Most air conditioning systems on the market are specially designed for the bedroom - conservatory or whole living space. With new multi systems you can have one outdoor unit feeding up to eight indoor units providing greater flexibility for different layouts.

With increased and improved technology year on year, air conditioning is much more affordable and very cost effective and units are available which can provide hot water ‘free’.  The most popular system for the home is a split system consisting of one outdoor condenser which can be mounted at the side of your house or hidden in the garden somewhere convenient. This is connected to an indoor unit for example in the bedroom via copper pipes which can be run through the loft area or aesthetically concealed in trunking. These units are usually installed within a day or for multi systems several days.
There are several systems available for the domestic home.

Wall Mounted Units
Wall mounted units with inverter technology enable the unit to start on a low electric current but all the while still deliver the desired cooling-heating capacity. All units come with remote controls, swing louvers function to distribute the cool air around the room and plasma filtration which helps rooms with smoky atmosphere or youngsters with asthma and hay fever to breathe cleaner filtered air. There are also different styles of indoor units - not just the usual cream looking original units.

Ducted Units
Ducted units are becoming very popular for home owners as the indoor unit is mounted in the loft area depending on the size of the rooms to be cooled or heated. One system potentially could cool up to four rooms via flexible ducting all installed in the loft area. All that would be seen in the bedrooms ceiling would be an attractive grill to supply the cooled air. This system would be connected to an outdoor condenser conveniently mounted at the side of the house or within the garden somewhere that doesn’t intrude with your living area.

Outdoor condensers are designed and made to run with very little noise so that neighbours or other people living close by are not affected.
